Cleaning of inactive dispensing and sampling areas.

1.0 OBJECTIVE
1.1 To lay down a procedure for cleaning of inactive dispensing and sampling areas.


2.0 SCOPE

2.1 This procedure is applicable to the Warehouse Department of <Company Name>


3.0 RESPONSIBILITY

3.1 House keeping personnel are responsible for cleaning activity.
3.2 Warehouse personnel are responsible to monitor the cleaning activity.
3.3 Head - Warehouse or the designee is responsible to ensure the compliance.


4.0 PROCEDURE

4.1 General cleaning of dispensing room, dispensing booth, sampling room and sampling booth takes place everyday in the morning and the same shall be recorded as per Annexure (cleaning record for warehouse).
4.2 Before ‘A’ type and ‘B’ type cleaning ensure that all the dispensing tools, materials and left over containers are removed from the area.

4.3 Cleaning types are “A” and “B”

4.3.1 Type “A” Cleaning
4.3.1.1 Use vacuum cleaner to collect the powder particles inside the booth and in the room.
4.3.1.2 Use lint free cloth to clean the stains. Clean top and behind surfaces of the booth, grills, Balance platform, accessories, storage box, Wall and wall mounted items followed by wet mop with Scheduled disinfectant solution/70% IPA wherever applicable.
4.3.1.3 Wet mop the entire area floor, Doors and Glass Panels by using scheduled disinfectant solution mentioned in the SOP .

4.3.2 Type “B” Cleaning
4.3.2.1 Use vacuum cleaner to collect the powder particles inside the booth and in the room.
4.3.2.2 Use lint free cloth to clean the stains. Clean top and behind surfaces of the booth, grills, Balance platform, accessories, storage box, Wall and wall mounted items.
4.4 After completion of cleaning activity in dispensing booth/Sampling booth enter the details in Annexure (Usage and Cleaning Log for Raw Materials Dispensing). 
 4.5 After completion of cleaning activity in sampling booth enter the details in Annexure(Area cleaning and usage record of sampling room) as per applicable.
4.6 Type of cleaning shall be decided with the following table.
Note: In case day change/end of the day (irrespective of any previous product/Material, after day changing) Type “A” cleaning shall be performed.
