Equipment Log for Production Equipment

1.0 OBJECTIVE

To lay down a procedure for recording the operations performed on that particular equipment.

2.0 SCOPE

This procedure is applicable for all the equipment's in the manufacturing area of <company Name>

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY

3.3 Executive-IPQA

4.0 PROCEDURE



1.1 All the operations on the equipment shall be recorded. 

1.2 All equipment's shall have equipment log sheet. 

1.3 The operations performed on the equipments shall be written in a sequential manner i.e date and time wise. 

1.4 The Equipment Log sheet consists of the following

1.4.1 Date : Date on which operation performed 

1.4.2 Name of the Product : Product name 

1.4.3 Batch No: Batch number of the that product 

1.4.4 Batch Size: Batch size of that particular batch  

1.4.5 Processing : Operation performed on that equipment 

1.4.6 Duration[from]: Time of operation [ HH:MM]

1.4.7 Duration[To]: Time of operation [ HH:MM]

1.4.8 Done by : Operation performed by [Production chemist] 

1.4.9 Checked by : Operation checked by [IPQA-Executive]

1.4.10 Remarks : If any 

1.5 Production Executive shall write the log sheet after completion of operation. 

1.6 IPQA-Executive shall check and sign.
